News & Projects
Venture Renewable Energy (VRE) works with major players in the financial, combustion controls and energy sectors within the UK and world-wide, and has expertise across a wide range of fuels application.
VRE participated in Global Round Tables to initiate low carbon projects in developing countries held at the Guildhall in London. The event was organised by the European Energy Centre (EEC) with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), taking place in major European financial centres such as Edinburgh, London, Paris, Frankfurt and Milan.
The event was aimed at project developers and private and public investors, with an interest in developing and/or investing in low carbon projects in developing countries.
VRE provided a detailed assessment of CHP heat pipe installation and process scheme options for a gas-fired power plant in UK. Key issues relating to: plant availability and quality of seawater, costs, environmental, layout and reference plants were addressed.
Following from request from power plant operators, VRE conducted due diligence study on biomass suppliers from West Africa to Europe (UK, Poland and Ireland). The study addresses transport logistics, commercial (volume, price and contractual terms), quality assurance, risks and environmental sustainability issues.
